Lip Shading is a permanent makeup treatment that leaves your lips with a permanent lip shade.

“Lip shading is a really amazing and fun procedure, because the clients are also involved,” says Alicia. For this treatment, Alicia and her clients work together to choose the perfect lip shade! Different factors go into place, when choosing a lip shade. First, Alicia has her clients bring in their favorite lipstick, or photo of their favorite lip color. Then Alicia will give a few different options based on the clients hair color, eye color and skin color. It’s a really fun process that really gives the client some creativity control as well!

Alicia really loves lip shading because she finds it very relaxing and fulfilling. A lot of permanent makeup artist do not like to perform lip shading, because it is time consuming and a difficult procedure to master. After years and years of experience in the permanent makeup industry, Alicia has mastered lip shading and finds it to be so rewarding.

“People are always happy knowing they can wakeup with no makeup on their lips, they can go shower, swim and they have something that makes them feel vibrant and beautiful all the time,” said Alicia Shapira.
