If you've ever had some questions about lash lift and tint, we are here to help! We sat down with permanent makeup artist Becca Anfossi, at New Image Beauty Bar, and went through some commonly asked questions about this popular treatment.
Today's topic is an important one! And it's all about who would make a good candidate for Brazilian Stretch Mark Camouflage. The first step to book an appointment is first seeing if your stretch marks are treatable. Let's go through a few simple steps to see if you can be treated!
Step 1: What Color Are Your Stretch Marks? You are a Candidate if: Stretch marks must be lighter than your skin tone to be treated. Meaning light pink or white in color. You are NOT a candidate if: Your stretch marks are red, pink, dark pink, darker than your skin tone or grey. If your stretch marks are not lighter than your natural skin color, then it means your stretch marks are most likely still healing and they may turn to a lighter color down the road. Note: We require stretch marks to be at least two years old.
Step 2: What Texture Are Your Stretch Marks? You are a Candidate it: Your stretch marks are flat and smooth in texture. You are NOT a candidate if your stretch marks are ridged and have texture throughout them. There are treatments to help smoothen your stretch marks, so reach out to us for recommendations of different treatment options to get your stretch marks flat and smooth. We require the stretch marks to be flat and smooth, in order to achieve the most beautiful results.
Step 3: Book with Alicia Shapira! We offer virtual consultations for all of our clients, just send us a call or email and we will be in touch to see how we can help make your stretch marks disappear. Our Scar Lightening treatment is an amazing procedure that uses FDA approved vitamins to lighten dark colored scars. We commonly have patients with post surgery scarring or dark stretch marks that they are looking to disguise, and the results are amazing! This lightening treatment also creates the perfect canvas for our Brazilian Stretch Mark Camouflage procedure, that completely conceals the area, to match your exact skin tone. Camouflage can only be used on areas that are lighter than your skin tone, which is why our lightening treatment is the first step for those with dark colored scars or stretch marks. It's important to note, this procedure is using our own mix of FDA approved vitamins that have been tested over the years, to determine the perfect amount for optimal results. For those wanting this exact procedure with our results, you must visit us or one of our trained students who has the same treatment as us. Hyperpigmented, or dark colored, scars can be very difficult to work with and can take a lot of time and patience, this treatment can take anywhere from 1 to 6 treatments in total. The lightening treatment takes around 2 months to completely heal. During the healing process the scar will turn red and may even scab up, it's important to note, the area may look worse before it gets better. After 60 days the final results will show, this is when you are expected to return for a follow up to see if you will require more lightening treatments. As noted before, patience is key in this lightening procedure as it may take months and a series of treatments before the area is fully lightened. Watch Our YouTube video where Alicia treats Kathy Picos breast augmentation scars with our lightening treatment. This is her second session and the 3rd will be a 3D Areola Repigmentation treatment, to create the perfect areolas. NEW!!
