2021 Tour – Brazilian Stretch Mark Camouflage Workshop

New Image Beauty Bar Goes on Tour!!

We know this year has been tough on all of us, and travelling was completely out of question! But we are excited to announce that we will be back on tour next year and bringing Brazilian Stretch Mark Camouflage training to you!! Our 2020 calendar is now fully book and we are now booking for the second week of 2021. This year we have stuck to our Florida office and our students have been visiting, and flying in, from all over the country. Since we have had classes held at our Florida office, we kept each class to either 1 or 2 students at most, this ensures great 1 on 1 training. During the tour, we will be offering more seats per class to make sure we can accommodate a larger number of people, but ensuring every student gets individual attention and training. Alicia Shapira truly believes the 1 on 1 training and attention is what really sets her classes a part, and will be sure to keep this same standard of training on the road!   We will be starting our tour in January, for Brazilian Stretch Mark Camouflage, and will be visiting the following states:

New York

Las Vegas

The Healing Process of Brazilian Stretch Mark & Scar Camouflage

Healing time and instructions are always a very important topic to discuss when it comes to Brazilian Stretch Mark and Scar Camouflage. If a patient does not follow the proper aftercare it can lead to longer healing time and possibly a higher need for touch-ups down the road.

It's very important to follow the proper aftercare instructions with both of these procedures. If they are followed, you should find your healing time much quicker. But if you do not follow proper instructions, you run the risk of getting your skin inflamed and slowing down the healing process. For example, if you go to a pool, beach, sauna or sweat excessively too soon, you put your results at risk. At the end of the day, most people have had stretch marks their whole life, so taking a few weeks to treat the area properly is totally worth the beautiful result at the end! This treatment is a miracle, and Alicia Shapira is a magician! So for those who have dealt with stretch marks for 10,20,30 years, this wait is nothing! Just because you may not see results after the first session, does not mean it won't work.

It takes, on average, 60-120 days for Brazilian Stretch Mark and Scar Camouflage clients to fully heal.

Most Common Factors That Effect the Healing Process

  • Diet
  • Vitamins
  • Prescription Medications
  • Skin Type
  • Ethnicity
  • If your skin has the tendency to hyper pigment
Take a look at this 90-day healing process below. You will notice the stretch marks will appear dark and red for several weeks before they are camouflaged to the skin. It's important to be patient with this treatment and always listen to your aftercare instructions, to ensure a beautiful result.   All of our clients return for a follow up 60-90 days after, this is to see if there is any need for a touchup. And usually, 40% of clients will want/need 1-3 more sessions. And the results are permanent!   If you have darker skin, you are less likely to need a touchup. And sometimes it may only be a few stretch marks that need a touchup, during your follow up appointment. It's important to understand all of our bodies are unique, which means the healing process may look a little different for all of us. So patience and responsibility will lead to an amazing result to last you a lifetime!   Be sure to follow our social media's at @newimagebeautybar for more information!

The beauty industry is one of the fastest-growing industries out there, as everyone is searching for a way to stay young and look young forever. The beauty industry is projected to be an $805 Billion industry by 2023. That means now is the best time to look for a career in the beauty industry. But where to start? Some beauty jobs require years of schooling and with little income at the end of it all.   So what is the perfect job career for you to get in the beauty industry? Permanent makeup! There are so many different options of training and procedures when it comes to permanent makeup and you can receive enough knowledge, training, and certifications in only a few months to get you started on your own. So we went to Alicia Shapira, of New Image Beauty Bar, a very popular permanent makeup artist and teacher in South Florida, to give us some reasons why a job in the permanent makeup industry is a good choice. Here is what Shapira had to say:
  1. People Love It!
So many people are resorting to permanent makeup nowadays, simply because it saves them so much time! And with plastic surgery becoming more popular every year, permanent makeup can also cater to those after reconstructive surgery. Especially of the face or breasts, permanent makeup can help return the skin's appearance to normal if pigment was lost during surgery. Making this field a very popular one.
  1. It’s a Rewarding Job
Permanent Makeup can really change a person’s life. Some people have been struggling with insecurities their whole life, whether it be a dark scar post surgery, stretch marks from growth spurts or even having misshapen eyebrows. In this field you have the power to restore someone's confidence, and that is the most rewarding feeling ever! “A person’s life can be transformed with a simple microblading procedure, permanent lip and eye liner, areola tattooing, Brazilian Camouflage,” says Alicia Shapira.
  1. Great Financial Benefits
The financial benefits of becoming a makeup artist can be great! Below is a chart that displays the amount of money you can make per year depending on the number of procedures you do, weekly. A permanent makeup artist can decide whichever path to take whether it be working for a medical practice, medi-spa, salon, tattoo shop, or becoming a free-standing entity. By making this your career you can decide whatever path you would like to take and ultimately reap the financial benefits! “Many of my students from New Image Beauty Bar are making six-figures a year!” says Shapira.
  1. Growing Industry
The field of Permanent Cosmetics is an exciting and growing industry. The beauty industry is projected to be an $805 Billion industry by 2023.  Electrologists, estheticians, nurses, tattoo artists, cosmetologists and physicians are among the diverse group who have added this specialty to their portfolio of services. And this industry is only growing.
  1. You Can Make Amazing Connections
Shapira says, “The amount of people I have met is pretty incredible. There are always new challenges with each client, but worth all of them, learning to adapt to others styles that people want even if you don't like it, is pretty cool because once you earn their trust as an artist they end up trusting you to do what you think is best for them!”   So if you’re still looking for a new job field to get started in, why not give permanent makeup a try? The financial benefits are amazing, you can get that rewarding feeling from changing someone's life, and you are able to create your own hours and work for yourself! Miami Vibes Magazine “The Newest Beauty Treatment For Stretch Marks?”

A recent 4-page spread featuring New Image Beauty Bar, in the September issue of Miami Vibes Magazine.

If South Florida is known for anything, it’s good restaurants, nice beaches and beautiful people. And it’s no secret that South Florida holds some of the United States top aesthetic spas. One unique procedure, that was brought from Brazil to South Florida, is the Brazilian Stretch Mark Camouflage treatment. Alicia Shapira, of New Image Beauty Bar, was the first and one of only two people in the world trained by the Brazilian Stretch Mark Camouflage inventor, Rodolfo Torres. Shapira has clients and students fly in from all over the world to receive this treatment and learn this unique technique with her one-on-one training courses. So if you’ve ever seen someone in the states offering this treatment, they were trained by Shapira.

Brazilian Stretch Mark Camouflage is a procedure that uses skin-colored ink to disguise stretch marks and scars. “Stretch marks are one of the hardest things to treat. There are so many lasers and machines that claim to help with removing scars and stretch marks. But I have yet to see something that works as well as my camouflage treatment,” says Alicia Shapira.

This treatment can treat any body part, even under eyes and the results are incredible, lasting for years and years! “I can’t explain how happy it makes me to make my clients feel confident and beautiful in their skin. Stretch marks can really be tough for some people to accept. And it brings joy when I hear a client can finally feel beautiful in their skin again,” said Shapira. And the best part is that any skin tone can be treated as long as the stretch marks are lighter than the natural skin tone.

Now if that isn’t enough, her beautiful pink and glitzy office can make anyone plan a visit. With a full, handcrafted flower wall making the perfect backdrop for a selfie, you can’t go to her spa and not fall in love. “I really wanted to make a space that made people feel happy, comfortable and beautiful. I’m so happy with how everyone reacts when they first come in and then how beautiful they feel when they leave,” says Shapira.

New Image Beauty Bar has had all sorts of people walk through the door, from A list celebrities to clients like Dayana Castellanos, from VH1’s Cartel Crew.

What Happens If You Tan After Brazilian Stretch Mark Camouflage?

One of the most frequently asked questions we receive when talking about Brazilian Stretch Mark Camouflage is, what happens if my skin gets tan after my treatment?

Of course, this is an expected question, because the color used to camouflage your stretch marks is technically a permanent color. So does that mean the color will stay the same if the rest of you tans, or will they also tan with your skin now?

So here is the answer. We create a custom color to match your natural skin color, to disguise your white, grey, or pink stretch marks. This procedure tattoos the Dermis layer, which is the second layer of the skin, a layer that the sun never reaches.

So when you tan, this layer of your skin, the tattooed layer, will not be touched or changed by the sun. This means your stretch marks may appear lighter than your skin tone if your skin is more tanned than it was during treatment. So your skin will tan, but the camouflaged tattoos will not. But once your skin returns to its natural shade, it will once again match your tattoed stretch marks.
