This past weekend Alicia Shapira had the privilege of teaching the Brazilian Method of Tattoo Camouflage to Gena Bradley and Renee Harvey in Aahsome Salon in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. On live models, Alicia taught these beautiful women all they need to know to become successful in this new method of tattooing that diminishes the look of stretch marks anywhere on the body, originally made famous in Brazil by the artist who created it, Rodolfo Torres. The pigment works to cover striations, scars, and dark circles. It is a method of optical illusion with the tattoo being your very own skin tone color! It does not change color and does not fade – He created formulas of inks with the same tone of our skin proven more than 10 years ago with no change of color and no need for retouching! It’s not the same micropigmentation we are used to, it’s a tattoo! But please only seek out trained professionals to do this procedure! There are only a handful in the USA so don’t fall for the fakes! Feel free to contact Alicia Shapira directly to find out how to sign up for the class and what pre-requisites you may need to legally perform this procedure in your area, or if you are interested in receiving this service for your own stretch marks!
So many women around the world develop stretch marks for a variety of different reasons, and may become frustrated with them, but a tattoo artist from Brazil, found a way to make them less noticeable, and Alicia Shapira was qualified and lucky enough to receive training here in the United States to begin offering this amazing technique of Stretch Mark Camouflage to you right here in South Florida, and the results are truly astounding! Alicia fills in the lighter lines of the scars with a flesh-toned ink to blend in the stretch marks with the rest of her client's skin. After the tattoos heal, the client's skin has a more even appearance, and the stretch marks seem to disappear. The only way to truly remove stretch marks is with expensive laser treatments, but it's amazing to see this alternative method of making them blend into the skin. It's important to note that stretch marks are incredibly common and there's nothing wrong with having them and embracing them. However, this method is a great option for women who are unhappy or insecure about their skin. See some before and after photos of Alicia’s clients on her Instagram page @NewImageBeautyBar, and follow the journey as more and more women learn about, and take advantage of this amazing procedure! If you are interested in booking an appointment or learning more, please feel free to call or text Alicia directly at 954-774-5087.

A tattoo artist from São Paulo, Brazil has changed the game for women embarrassed by their stretch marks, offering them an alternative option to expensive laser treatments for reducing the appearance of stretch marks on their buttocks, breasts, stomach or outer thighs. Rodolpho Torres uses a tattooing technique he calls “stretch mark camouflage,” in which he fills the lighter lines of the scars with flesh-toned ink to blend them into the rest of the skin and make them less noticeable, and Alicia Shapira was one of the first artists in the United States to receive training on this amazing technique, making it possible for the first time ever for American women here in South Florida able to diminish the appearance of your stretch marks. We would like to take the time to answer the most popular questions we have received by the public about this technique: Q: How long does it last, and will I need a touch up? A: This ink will last on your skin up to 10 years. You may need to receive a touch up on some of the area 60 days later after healing. Q: What areas can you treat? A: I can treat arms, legs, butt, hips, outer thighs, stomach, and chest- pink and white stretch marks only. Q: How much will this cost me? A: Anywhere from $800-$5,000 depending on the how many areas of the body you want to treat. Q: How long does the procedure take? A: Takes about 3 to 8 hours to complete, again depending on the size of the treatment area. Q: Will it hurt? A: Some areas are more sensitive than others but it is bearable. It’s a tattoo! Q: Since it is a tattoo, do I need to stay protected from the sun? A: Yes- I highly recommend not doing this procedure before a vacation to a tropical paradise. Excessive sun exposure immediately after procedure will not benefit your healing process. For more information or to book your appointments for this procedure, please call 954-774-5087.
