One of the most frequently asked questions we receive when talking about Brazilian Stretch Mark Camouflage is, what happens if my skin gets tan after my treatment?
Of course, this is an expected question, because the color used to camouflage your stretch marks is technically a permanent color. So does that mean the color will stay the same if the rest of you tans, or will they also tan with your skin now?
So here is the answer. We create a custom color to match your natural skin color, to disguise your white, grey, or pink stretch marks. This procedure tattoos the Dermis layer, which is the second layer of the skin, a layer that the sun never reaches.
So when you tan, this layer of your skin, the tattooed layer, will not be touched or changed by the sun. This means your stretch marks may appear lighter than your skin tone if your skin is more tanned than it was during treatment. So your skin will tan, but the camouflaged tattoos will not. But once your skin returns to its natural shade, it will once again match your tattoed stretch marks.
